The Hi Tide has a history dating back to 1947 when Giovanni opened a beach shop and a few wooden stalls selling teas for the beach.  Since these small beginnings, the Hi-Tide has steadily grown to become the borough's top cabaret and function venue. The Harbour Lights bar is a
sea-facing lounge with outstanding beach views and is traffic free.  Ample seating both inside and on our sun deck, provides an ideal place to enjoy daily meals and drinks.  Seasonal and Bank Holidays, we have free entertainment and an outstanding view of our free fireworks display. At Christmas, we offer parties with live entertainment and D.J. for large or small numbers with traditional Christmas Fayre. Christmas Day would not be the same without the Charity Christmas Morning Swim, continuing with New Years Eve cabaret and finishing with disco night.
